The Relics of Padre Pio at St. Anastasia Parish

The relics of St. Padre Pio coming to St. Anastasia parish. located at 5202 A1a S., St. Augustine, January 16 & 17. St. Pio, an Italian Capuchin Franciscan Friar and priest, is widely known for his piety and charity, as well as the gift of the sacred stigmata which has never been explained.
In preparation for the veneration of his relics on Sunday, January 16 & Monday, January 17, 2022, you are invited to a presentation on the life of Saint Pio: the Capuchin friar, the priest, the stigmatist and the mystic.  The presentation will be given by Deacon Robert DeLuca on Thursday, January 13, 2022, beginning at 6:30p.m. in the St. Enda of Aran Formation Center.
The Veneration of the Relics begins with the opening Mass on Sunday, January 16 at 10:30 a.m. with the reception of the relics at 11:30 a.m. Veneration of the relics 11:45 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. January 17, Mass at 9:00 a.m.; veneration of Relics: 9:30 – 7:00 p.m. Closing Mass in honor of St. Pio begins at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome.
