Auxiliary Bishop Thanh Thai Nguyen will give a retreat for the Vietnamese Community at Vietnamese Cultural Center at Christ the King on Saturday, September 18. He will give two talks:

1) Morning Talk: Journey Within
“Nothing that enters one from outside can defile that person; but the things that come out from within are what defile” (Mk 7:15)
To return to our hearts (within), we need to go into the desert in our hearts
1. To recognize God as a loving Father
2. To realize that others are our brothers and sisters
3. To realize my true self

2) Afternoon Talk: Embracing the Way of Discipleship
1. Be a Witnesses “God raised this Jesus; of this we are all witnesses” (Acts 2:32)
