Red Bird Ministries is a Catholic Grief Support Ministry following the loss of a child from miscarriage through adult. This program is being piloted in our diocese through the Office of Human Life & Dignity. An Information Session will take place on Friday, April 23, 6:00-7:30 pm at Sacred Heart Fleming Island, 7190 Highway 17 South, Bldg. B. The information session is for anyone interested in the program, including clergy, cemetery staff, counselors, therapists, advocates, parish grief ministers, companion couples, volunteers, and anyone who would have contact with grieving families who are interested in learning more about Red Bird Ministries. In addition, a Loving Through Loss Grieving Couples Workshop will take place on Saturday, April 24, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm at Sacred Heart Fleming Island, 7190 Highway 17 South, Bldg. B. This workshop is for couples who have experienced the loss of a child from conception to adulthood. The registration fee is $75 per couple and includes all materials.
